Family
- How do you usually help your family at home?
- What is your favourite activity to do with your family? Why?
- How can children show care for their family members?
Speak daily. Think clearly. Express confidently.
A few small habits make all the difference at PSLE Oral.
After your child answers, always follow up with these. This is the key to turning short answers into strong PSLE responses.
Why these four? They push your child past a one-line answer into the kind of reasoning, examples and reflection that PSLE examiners are looking for in a well-developed response, and help their responses come alive with a student's lived experiences.
Pick a theme that fits your day. Ask one question, listen well, then layer in a magic prompt.
One last reminder. Confidence comes with practice. There's no perfect answer, just one that represents what you think and the things you've experienced in your life. The goal of the questions above is just to practise sharing these thoughts naturally and comfortably.
